Through Adam, one mans sin entered into the world, and death by sin followed. So, death passed upon all men, for all have sinned. Interesting, eh? Therefore, with sin in control utopia cant be found in any government! Wrong! Lets see if history can reveal a government that existed and had zero wars, riches unsurpassed, and was ordained by God Himself. Brace yourself. I have found exactly what we are looking for. No, Its not Atlantis! In a land, many years ago, there was a King. Unlike so many predecessors, both before and after him, he went directly to God and he asked God for the wisdom to run everything. Who could this be? Did you say Solomon? Ask what I shall give thee, said God to Solomon. Solomon asked for the understanding to discern judgment. What he did not ask for was: long life, riches for himself or the life of his enemies. You should read what happens next in 1st. Kings 3:12-14. His kingdom was without war during its entire existence and his reign. Solomon became the wisest of the wise men and the richest King and most blessed ruler ever to reign anywhere in the world. History has confirmed this truth. Absolutely no one can dispute, nor has any ruler ever surpassed him in his wisdom, the wealth of his kingdom or the blessings God bestowed upon him. There is a petite caveat conditional. God said, "If thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days". In other words if the ruler lives longer the kingdom and government exist longer. Conditions? That having been said, he was an author. Solomon wrote a book called Ecclesiastes and other very wise and historically correct stuff. Ecclesiastes was written near the end of his reign. Its all about wisdom basically. Its about the lessons he learned and some advice for all of us. Really now finding out everything the hard way is not all that much fun. Its expensive and time consuming. We often think that there is never enough time to do something right the first time. Try this idea there will be plenty of time to do it right the second time. Here's another nugget of truth if we just fix that annoyance we have even more time than if we keep trying to assign the blame to someone or something from the excuse bag we shoulder through life. Fact! Everybody has one, just listen when they speak! More importantly, its what is done with the excuses in that bag and how you apply the spin that causes some real anomalies. They tend to compound with use. Those items loosed from the bag are like time bombs that show up at the most inopportune times hurting everyone who comes in contact with the results including the bag holder.
The bottom line we throughout our lives emulate others. We operate our businesses, and lives on successful patterns! We attempt to template others successes while trying to use their successful pattern to our own advantage. What they do to achieve these successes in their lives we desire, then discover, and name it as our own. We emulate and apply these templates and then deed it as our own creation. Well, we could all use that type of template and scripture reveals that we can ask God just the way Solomon did. Desire that wisdom then ask God. It is written, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him. That was easy! By the way, Solomons template as found in Ecclesiastes. It is free and that is exactly why reverendhamer.net reverendhamer.com and reverendhamer.org is presenting this and other information(s) for your perusal. It is interesting to note that until the bible was printed many folks (the masses) only heard parts of it, while it remained hidden to all but a very select few. This copyrighted word belongs to God and He wrote it for you! We will apply God's word to real life circumstances to show you that it is an effective handbook for your survival here on this earth and your eternal future depends on what you do!
Solomon states:
1. then shall the dust return to the earth as it was
2. the spirit shall return unto God who gave it
Solomon then concludes that one and all should fear God and keep His Commandments for this is the whole duty of man. God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing whether it be good or evil.
In the USA, attorneys have been engaged in attempts to legally remove The Ten Commandments, from all public view. So, lets compare two countries.
Well-documented historical facts state America and Haiti (dedications by leaders):
a. April, 29Th., 1607 Reverend Robert Hunt dedicated America to our Lord Jesus Christ. (2007 1607 = 400 years) His basic premise was to further
the gospel here and abroad. (i.e. everywhere)
b. Haiti was dedicated to satan on August14,1791, by Boukman, at Bois-Caiman. Then, 200 years later Jean-Bertrand Aristide the president of Haiti attempted to renew this same contract in 1991.
May I now present templates for you consideration?
America, dedicated to and moving away from the wisdom of God and his Statutes and Commandments.
Haiti, dedicated to satan and the total abandonment of Gods Wisdom Statutes or the Commandments.
What do you think of the current conditions of these two countries? What directions have they taken in recent years? Through the separation of church and state have we removed Gods wisdom from the total equation? Should King Solomons Successful Kingdom not be the template we are to follow then perhaps we have lost sight of the very values that have stabilized this county throughout its existence. Was the in God We Trust the very Anchor we are no longer going to hold fast to? Movies send a strong message far ahead of what America is all about. We are certainly not what these people have portrayed us to be to the world and each other. These convoluted messages impact our existence at every level of our lives.
Long ago a certain lawyer questioned Jesus. He asked, Which is the greatest commandment in the law? and Jesus replied, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself on these two commandments hang all the law. Lets travel back in time and reveal some interesting facts that may surprise and astound you when wisdom is applied!
Questions:
Do people live longer now than they did?
Who exactly are your distant relatives?
Does your body turn to dust at the end?
Where does your spirit go?
Disobedience to the Commandments causes what to happen?
Where did you come from anyway?
Was Jesus the Second Adam?
In the beginning man and woman walked with God. They lived in Eden at the location mentioned in Genesis 2: verses (10 to 14). It was a garden setting. It was watered by a mist from the ground. It contained two special trees (tree of the knowledge of good and evil) and the (tree of life). There were two special people (Adam and Eve). There was the creator (God) and the created (lucifer, that name was changed to satan, by God). Wisdom would affirm that: He (God the creator and owner) is in charge and had ownership (deed by creation). Therefore, God changed the name of lucifer who was created by Him to (satan). There was no protest and no argument from the created and re-named satan! God later let Adam name all the animals. Think, was God was transferring (The Deed) to Adam? Well, enough said about that. satan knew the commandments of God. After all he was present in garden and reworded Gods commandment. Commandment was, Of every tree, of the garden, thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in that day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. That's clear! God created Adam and Eve in Eden with instructions to dress and keep the garden. We should interpret this in current terms. It means that as we as we tend, weed and take care of our gardens today we avoid consumption of deadly, poisonous fruits that would dramatically shorten our life span. It was good advice then and just as valid today!
First:
God said, Of every tree, of the garden, thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in that day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Then:
satan said, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Followed by:
Eve said, "Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Excuses:
(The bag starts with Adam)
See how the commandment is changed, interpreted, comprehended and then acted upon. Please, factor this question in as you ponder the unfolding scene. Why didn't satan (now called a serpent and without protest) not suggest that Eve eat of the tree of life and live forever? Hello? Now, God finds Adam and Eve hiding and wearing aprons fashioned from fig leaves. Our First Adam gets an excuse from the bag and tells God its the Eves fault. God asks Eve, what is this that thou hast done? The woman presents her excuse from the bag, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. God addresses the serpent! Dust thou shalt eat all the days of thy life. Then God states, And I will but enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed*; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. This refers to (Jesus) birth* . Jesus is referred to as the Second Adam! who takes back (The Deed) that our First Adam lost to satan. Salvation and redemption for both man and woman is set in motion by God the creator! Perfect wisdom personified!
God deals with everyone and everything relating to the issues presented. God sends Adam and Eve barefoot (was Eden Holy Ground?) from Eden so they don't eat from of the tree of life. God covers them with coats of skins, could this be a reference to the blood sacrifices that followed throughout in the bible? In the book of Job the Lord God asks satan, whence commest thou? _he replies, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. _satan, the devil continues, causing grief to man as he did with Job, from Genesis throughout the Bible. The devils end began in the book of Genesis. The devil was defeated at the cross and confounded by the resurrection. Revelation 12:7-12, 20:1-3. (Until Jesus The only begotten, Son of God final sacrifice and resurrection when He becomes The King of Kings and Lord of Lords) Amen!
Cain offers the fruit of the ground to God. It immediately is rejected by Him. God had said to Adam cursed is the ground for thy sake! Able offered the first-lings of the flock and of the fat thereof and the Lord had respect unto Able and to his offering. Cain is wroth and his countenance falls and he slays his brother Able. The 1st murder has occurred. Cain complains to God that he is afraid he will be slain since he is now a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth. Well, if he had loved his brother, he would not have slain him remember the commandments. Cain Moves to Nod, a little to the east of Eden. He is safe because before he leaves God places a Mark on him. This visible commandment WHO-so-EVER slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. The commandment is Thou shalt not kill! If you love your neighbor as your self, you've kept the commandment and a lot of others as well since love covers much.
During the creation process God created Man (Adam) He took a rib from him and created Woman (Eve, aka: the mother of all living). This was the 1st surgery and 1st anesthesia. God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam. The point No doctors, no pharmacy, no hospital and the very 1st. genetic engineering creating woman! Scientists hope that what they clone might survive and reproduce. This wild card holds some horrific ramifications should some unnoticed material slip in during the processing. Man was created in Gods (Image and Likeness) and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. This resuscitation technique was reported to have been recently discovered. H'm? Actually, it happened in Eden 1st. Man is now a living soul that God formed out of the dust of the earth. _satan the serpent is cursed, on his belly, eating the dust of the earth which was cursed by God. This dust is replenished when you die you are the ashes to ashes dust to dust Sound familiar? Doesn't matter cremation or burial you're in that replenishing cycle. As the saying goes, man has once to die then the judgment.
This word replenish occurs in the bible. When words or phrases repeat it is for a reason. Its just like the name changes (satan to devil). Replenish occurs after fruitful and multiply. Relatives, are everywhere! Verse 28, Genesis 1 Be fruitful, and multiply and replenish the earth. Did something happen that caused all to come to naught? We have God and The Spirit of God with the creation of a new heaven and new earth. We have two special people. There are two special trees. There slides out of Eden a serpent thingy (aka: the devil) with a lot of different names. We have breaking news that announces a savior who will make everything right all the way through eternity. Good news coming straight out of Eden! A righteous child will be born in Bethlehem named Jesus and announced by angels. He has His very own star to guide the three wise men to the correct location. They bring gifts fit for the King. Meanwhile the evil king (Herod) will be murdering all the children to kill the baby. Jesus will get back the deed to the earth, remove all the curses and redeem man from sin and free us from death and the fear it causes. Lets assume that your really distant relatives came from that special creative garden. Would that be justification for you to love your brother? Embrace that thought, and take a deep breath. Now take one step back in time and watch your step with this one. Got it in You? Gods breath is in you who are created in his image and likeness from the dust you came from and will return to. Ouch!
Try this on for size. You spirit returns to God, it is what it is. But wait there's more. Some one else was told to replenish the earth. Noah lived 950 years. Enoch lived to be 365 years and God walked with him, and he was not because God took him. God was found among men. They were all living a long time and they called upon God and knew his commandments. God visited Noah because he had found grace in the eyes of God. God was not happy with the state of man and God said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. God instructed Noah to build the 1st. boat. He built it on dry land, no small task, and no water in sight. God said, The end of all flesh is come before me for the earth is filled with violence. Sounds like the evening news? God further mentions after the waters subside, that Noah is to be fruitful and multiply. So, scientists confirmed that there was a world wide flood. The Ark would hold all the animals, people and supplies based on models which were built and tested. It would not sink in and would not roll over in the demos I was privileged to watch. Awesome! Wisdom's conclusion fits! Everyone from the flood on is related to Noah and his family. The whales and fish were swimming in the waters that covered the highest mountains. Oh well, the Ark settled on Mt. Ararat after some 40 day 40 nights of rain. Noah built an alter to the Lord and they obeyed the commandment, Be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. Are we all here and together on this?
Now God placed a rainbow in the sky and made a covenant with Noah not to cover the earth totally with water to cut off all flesh as by world wide flood. That said! Scientist, newscasters and weather reporters continually say that rainbows are due to oil, pollution and other ecological issues. That recorded rainbow occurred a very long time ago long. Trust me on this: God has just Created a New Heaven and a New Earth. The industrial revolution is just not in the picture so there was not enough of anything available to pollute the earth and the sky causing rainbows. Think about this the choices are: Noah had a diesel powered boat or God made a covenant and created a rainbow. So what happened to the 820 years since we only get 70 to 80? God shortened them because of the sin related issue. Solomon confirms the math. We now live3 score and 10 about70 years according to Solomon. We see that God is in control and sets the time we have both individually and collectively for life span and all governments. Nebuchadnezzar this or Pharaoh that out. There was also a remarkable absence in refineries and oil drilling rigs and pipe line problems in Noah's time. No freeways, traffic jams, oil spills, super fund dumps, Mt. St. Helen's, burning oil fields or wars. Wisdom asks you to think. Sin shortens time and causes judgment! Gods Commandments are the written wisdom. Are you the right stuff? Wisdom is the right stuff. You and the next man are more than equal since you're made of the same stuff. You were kick started by Gods Breath of Life. Everybody is your relative. Your roots are in Eden. The boat landed on Mt. Ararat not Ellis Island. The captain was Noah and Jesus is Lord!
The unsinkable Ark came to rest on top of mount Ararat and the gang plank descends with passengers and animals safely delivered to a new location. They had a deed to a new life based on obeying God's delivered instructions.
Back to the beginning! The phrase "...and God saw that everything that he made and behold, it was very good...a repeated phrase! (important when things-words or phrases-repeat).
Ecclesiastes - Ex.: "everything under the sun".
God had said to Adam, "Cursed is the ground for thy sake!" Therefore, we now find; thorn and thistle, barren land, toil and sweat, with constant sufferings and trials bound tightly to Adams existence and his Exodus from Eden with death and fear following closely. Eve had a specified share of judgment from God as did the created serpent-thingy.
The good news, promise, is that Christ would redeem the earth, remove the curse from both it, heaven and man. Jesus frees us from the fear of death. Christs defeat of the devil brings us salvation and the culmination of the God redemptive plan.
When the other two were crucified with Christ one asked for Jesus help. "Today thou shalt be with me in paradise", promise fulfilled, was His reply! The other one went where _____? The risen Christ, our Jesus is the catalyst for the birth of a new heaven, new earth and new bodies for us, as the scriptures reveal. God chose Enoch and took him with him, interesting? Jesus did the works of the Father who was God! Jesus also took someone with him. Now, was that the first or second person saved _____?
We see that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Thus man believeth the righteousness "Jesus" with his heart and with his mouth confession is made unto his salvation through Christ. He was the Son of God and the Lamb that God chose. "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased." Abraham had offered his son, not a fruit of the ground offering, to God. An angel provided the the lamb. Jesus was Our Lamb provided by God just as He provided for Abraham a replacement for his son.
Enoch walked and talked with God and he was not. (Enoch went with God!) Guess what, He is still alive! (eternity or the longest living man in existence, your choice) One person on the cross next to Jesus Christ believed He was a King with a Kingdom yet to come and could do all that was said by Him and that which others had witnessed. After all, He raised Lazarus from the dead. He believed Jesus could raise both of them. So, he asked, and he went with Jesus just as he said, "Today you shall be with me in Paradise".
The fruits of the ground were a product of the curse and can not remove the curse or curses. Right, there were two! I would like to point out that the curse was increased again by God who said, "And now art thou cursed from the earth which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brothers blood from thy hand". (Abel's blood Cry's out)
The fruits of the ground do not represent or picture the atonement through the shed blood. Ground fruits were good for tithes, offerings and the support of the ministry. Shed blood came only through sacrifice. Since Cain brought the wrong sacrifice, it was not accepted. He was grounded, earthly but not in the wisdom from above. (Hebrews 9:23 purified) Brace yourself if you dare read this verse and see how high the curse reached. Remember satan principality of the air who walked amongst stones of fire, was wandering around the earth and caused Job some major discomforts.
Throughout the Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy we find sacrifice. It was practiced. This theme started with the first Exodus at Eden. It continues till Christ because the worlds were framed by the "Word of God" so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Able offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain by which he obtained witness that he was righteous "God testifying of his gifts" and by it he being dead yet speaketh - (his blood cried out. Hebrews 11) Please read.
In Chapter 13, "That Jesus might sanctify the people with His own Blood, suffered without the gate". The sinless death of Jesus Christ outside the gates of
Jerusalem amongst sinners foiled the devils plan and fullfilled the prophecys. The plan started at Eden.
Jesus' way is to (Love thy Brother), His Resurrection, and Life forever at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor is our hope in this life. It's His guarantee to each and every one of us that life eternal is for all who believe in His Name. Confess Him before others, ask Him to forgive your sins. Invite Jesus into your life and you can then say with confidence that, "Jesus is Lord!". There was one very wise man hanging on a cross beside Jesus Christ and one very foolish man. God gives us all a choice. The decisions we make today affect us tomorrow and for all of eternity. Empty the excuse bag and fill it with Jesus love for you with salvation for eternity everlasting!
